I've a proven track record in a range of industries including including finance, insurance, IT, health, science, commercial real estate, food and agribusiness, retailing, recruitment, local government, the arts and environment. I aim to both engage and inspire your audience.
Georges Riverkeeper
I'm currently contracted to work part-time with the environmental scientists in the Georges Riverkeeper team, and in collaboration with eight local member councils, to protect the natural resources of the Georges River in Sydney.
My role is to communicate the implementation of the Georges Riverkeeper Strategic Plan and its Programs. I create content (writing, photography and video) and manage all the communication channels, including website, social media, newsletter, media and publications, including the annual report and the recent 'State of the Georges River 2020 Report'.

Sutherland Shire Council
Working in-house with the Communications and Engagement team for four years, I undertook project management, copywriting, editing, photography and design for Council publications including the quarterly magazine to residents (printed; distribution 85,000), email newsletter, advertising, social media content, marketing collateral and other communications projects, including the Community Strategic Plan 2017. Ensured all business units adhered to visual identity guidelines in the production of promotional materials.

Rabobank International
The Word Magazine
Client: Rabobank International, co-operative bank and leaders in Food & Agribusiness.
Role: Managing Editor 2002- 2006
• Established international internal corporate magazine, The Word, published quarterly.
• Planned each issue and managed approval process with key stakeholders across a number of departments.
• Conducted interviews and wrote feature articles.
• Managed a network of freelance writers, wrote briefing sheets for writers and edited their work.
• Sub-edited final text according to the style guide I created to be consistent with the bank’s corporate messaging, language and style.
• Managed the design team and freelance photographers.
• Produced, wrote and edited Rabobank International Press Update, a weekly news service for journalists on behalf of the bank.
• Secondment to Rabobank’s head office, communications department, for six months where I was responsible for content development and management of the intranet news service that included planning content, conducting interviews, writing and editing internal news, and using their custom CMS.

Role: Communication Advisor, Writer & Editor. 2002-2006

• Devised this publication’s formula to address key issues.
• Created a style guide consistent with Elsevier’s house style.
• Planned each issue’s content, wrote briefing sheets for freelance writers, conducted interviews and wrote feature articles and news items.
• Managed freelancers and edited their work for consistency of style and tone.
• Edited conference reports.

Client: Rodamco Europe, retail property investor and manager.
Role: Writer & Editor, 2002-2006
• Wrote and edited feature stories and news stories for the corporate magazine, Shopping Around, published quarterly in four languages.
• Wrote and edited the monthly internal newsletter, Shop Talk.
• Managed translation of final text of magazines and newsletters into French, Dutch, and German.
• Sub-edited the annual report.
Amsterdam World Trade Centre Brochure & DVD voice over
